Updated 25th September, 2020
Dear Guests,
The most recent announcement permits recreational travel to Queensland from all Australian States and Territories with the exception of Victoria and the more central/southern areas of New South Wales. From 1 October, visitors from Australian Capital Territory may fly to Queensland and selected local government areas in Northern NSW are also able to arrive by road/rail/air etc. All eligible interstate visitors will be required to complete and sign a “Border Declaration” at the arrival point into Queensland (eg airport or state border).
It is recommended all guests refer to the updated regulations provided on the link below and any of their own state regulations (for any restrictions in place when returning home) for the most current updates on any COVID-19 restrictions/policies. The resort will also provide as much advice as possible throughout the premises on any restrictions currently in place as a result of these restrictions.
- Guests who may be considered a risk to other guests and staff should consider not proceeding with their reservation as we do not wish to offend if we decline your reservation request as our duty of care to protect other guests.
- The resort has increased its schedule of cleaning and disinfecting in common areas of the property.
- Should you feel unwell at any point during your stay, please ensure you seek medical assistance. (Please contact reception as we will be happy to assist).
- Observation of social distancing restrictions will be required at all times. This includes areas such as the swimming pool, recreation areas and bbq areas. Some areas may be limited or access restricted due to COVID-19 as required by law. New bookings are advised that refunds will not be provided for unavailability of any such facilities as advice through this notice has been provided and is beyond our control.
We are continuing to monitor and act on Australian Health Department advice and are applying the restrictions detailed by the Queensland State Government as required by law. Guests can access via www.health.gov.au for the most current updates on COVID-19.
